KRIS REBUFFS ROMANTIC LINK WITH BACOOR MAYOR STRIKE REVILLA

MANILA, JANUARY 6, 2011 (BULLETIN) By JULIEN MERCED C. MATABUENA - The "more than friends" issue between Kris Aquino and TV-radio broadcaster Ted Failon had barely died down, yet the former is again being linked to a different man.
According to a report by Bombo Radyo on Jan. 4, rumors romantically linking the Queen of All Media to Bacoor Mayor Strike Revilla have apparently beengoing around of late.
A certain tweet that Kris posted on Jan. 1 might have caused it.
"Thank u Mayor Strike Revilla of Bacoor. My new friend. He bought 500 tickets of Dalaw & gave to his constituents. He told me for Sen. Bong his brother he didn't- but for me & Dalaw YES," she tweeted, referring to Bong Revilla's joint 2010 MMFF movie project with Vic Sotto, "Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote."
However, Kris has clarified that she and Strike are just friends. She explained that the politician's action was just a show of his gratitude to her after she and "Dalaw" co-star Diether Ocampo held a gift-giving in Bacoor last Dec. 16.
While Kris is currently single, Mayor Strike is very much attached to girlfriend Chaye Cabal, a Finance Executive in PLDT.
The Presidential sister further related that Makati Mayor Junjun Binay also treated 600 of his constituents to Kris' latest horror flick. It seems the two are in speaking terms again after Kris revealed on "The Buzz" last Dec. 12 that they no longer communicate with each other "out of propriety."
Meanwhile, Kris was given the honor of being an Adopted Daughter of Bacoor by virtue of SB Resolution No. S153-2010 also last Dec. 16, citing "her outstanding accomplishments not only in the entertainment business, genuine public service involvement and most especially her support for the on-going programs of the municipality."
