PHNO-SB: FORMER SURVIVOR PHIL FINALIST, SOLENN HEUSAFF SIZZLES

FORMER SURVIVOR PHIL FINALIST, SOLENN HEUSAFF SIZZLES

MANILA, SEPTEMBER 6, 2011 (MALAYA) Whether you put her in some strange Thai island and or in a state-of-the-art concert stage, multi-talented bombshell Solenn Heusaff can fire-up everyone with her stunning beauty, intense charm, and convincing skill at whatever she is expected to do. In fact, more often, she surpasses expectations.

The former "Survivor Philippines" finalist showed her fans and curious concert goers she could sing big-time, wowing them in a two-night spectacle entitled "Solenn On Stage." Both concerts were held at Teatrino in Greenhills, San Juan last August 19 and 26.

The concert was a revelation for one of today's hot personalities as she pulled out more-than-decent-enough performances, proving her growing reputation as a versatile celebrity, and not just another pretty face forced to sing and bankroll on popularity.

"It feels good when I perform at 'Party Pilipinas' but it feels better to sing my own songs," she said in an interview.

Now dubbed as the "multi-slashie" for the various tags attributed to her, Solenn did the concert just days after her debut album launch at Red Box Eastwood Mall. Her self-titled CD released by MCA Music features her solidly sexy remake of Bruce Springsteen's "Fire" and her collaboration with rock icon Rico Blanco via a song aptly titled "Chemistry." She co-wrote the track with the former Rivermaya frontman.

On the first concert night, Solenn sang some numbers off her album such as "Chemistry," "Torn," "All I Want To Do" and of course, "Fire." She also performed other classics like "Satisfaction," "I Love Rock 'n Roll," and "Kiss." Through her sultry act heard and seen, the songs in her repertoire generally became ultimately sexy.

Guests included actor-singer Geoff Taylor, her brother Erwan Heusaff, and top balladeer and comedian Ogie Alcasid.

Apart from being a surprisingly effective singer, with her raspy voice complementing her sexy moves and innate sensuality as performer, Solenn is an actress, TV host, fashion designer, make-up artist, covergirl, among many things. She rose to national prominence after becoming one of the participants of "Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Edition."

The half-French, half-Filipina star recently appeared as one of the lead actresses in the remake of Joey Gosengfiao's "Temptation Island."
