DIETHER KEEPS MUM ON DATING KRIS

DIREK Chris Martinez is keeping his fingers crossed that Dina Bonnevie will accept the cameo role in his new project for Regal Entertainment. Direk Chris said it is almost a remake of the campy movie "Temptation Island," which was made nearly three decades ago.
Direk Chris has observed in the original "Temptation Island" that Dina had the best role. Even though, like the rest of the cast, she also played a beauty queen.
Aside from Dina, included in the original cast of "Temptation Island" were Azenith Briones, Jennifer Cortez, Bambi Arambulo, and Deborah Sun.
Only Dina, Azenith, and Deborah are still visible in showbiz, while Jennifer and Bambi have left the industry.
"At least, we already have the assurance of Azenith and Deborah that they will do guest appearance in my movie," revealed direk Chris.
"As far as I know, the emissaries of Regal Entertainment are still convincing Miss Dina."
Meanwhile, the stars of the "Temptation Island," according to direk Chris, are Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe, Solenn Heussaff and Rufa Mae Quinto.
Direk Chris says the entire film will be shot in one of the beautiful beaches in Vigan, Ilocos Sur.

Jake Cuenca describes his current romance with Melissa Ricks as "neither here nor there."
How did it happen? Jake said that he himself was puzzled.
"Kasi naman," says someone close to Jake, "pareho silang naging busy. And since bihira silang magkita, di tulad ng dati, ayon, they previously discovered themselves drifting apart."
Jake admits, though, that Melissa served as his inspiration, while he was shooting "In The Name of Love," his first movie with Aga Muhlach and Angel Locsin. He is currently getting kudos for his performance as a lover madly in love with Angel.
According to more than 100 theater owners nationwide, the film, directed by Olive Lamazan and Star Cinema's 18th anniversary offering, is a certified blockbuster.
"The latest and probably the last time that Jake and Melissa saw each other were at the block screening of the movie."
"Ewan ko kung pareho sila nag-iiwasan. Pero, di sila nag-bother na lapitan ang isa't isa," says the same source.
Melissa is currently promoting her soon to be released series "Nasaan si Elisa?" which she top bills.
Jake's series, "Green Rose," with Jericho Rosales, Alessandra de Rossi and Anne Curtis, will end this Friday.
Jake is due to leave with Angel for the US premiere of "In The Name Love" in Los Angeles, California on May 28 and in San Francisco on May 29.

Just asking: How come Diether Ocampo now keeps mum about his well-publicized intention to woo Kris Aquino?
This, Diether, openly told reporters at the time when Kris was on a cruise to Mexico with sons Joshua and Bimby.
Has Kris frankly and honestly asked Diether to stop pursuing her since it is just pure friendship that she feels for him?
Since their team-up in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry, "Dalaw," Kris admitted that she has become very close to Diether and sees him as one of her closest male friends, but obviously, not more than that.
At the moment, Kris is focused on the remake of her favorite talk show program 15 years ago, "Today with Kris Aquino."
ABS CBN has decided to revive the show and will have it aired soon on a daily basis.
Right now, Kris is still hosting the game show, "The Price is Right."
Diether himself like Kris is also busy with his new series, "Guns and Roses," co-starring with Robin Padilla and Bea Alonzo.
"Guns and Roses," according to Diether excites him not only because it's his first time to work with Robin and Bea, but because, like Robin, he will also have some action scenes in the TV series.
