MANILA, FEBRUARY 9, 2012 (ABS-CBN) By Reyma Buan-Deveza,
ABS-CBNnews.com - President Benigno Aquino III has a big chance of winning the
heart of Korean TV and radio personality Grace Lee.
Asked about the chances of Aquino, Lee said, "I think he's in the forefront.
He's first in the line."
In an interview on Wednesday, Lee admitted that Aquino makes her happy.
"He's one of the many aspects in my life right now that's making me happy,"
she said.
Lee admitted that she feels flattered that the President publicly admitted
that he is seeing her, adding that among the qualities she likes about Aquino is
that he is "considerate."
She also denied that the President is spending hours talking to her on the
phone.
"The very few times that I get to see him with his very busy schedule we have
dinner and, of course, you can't have it for 30 minutes," she said.
"Nagkukuwentuhan kami, we catch up, that's it."
"And no, we don't have time to talk for three hours on the phone. So many
people need him. Things like that, when it comes out, I think people should not
believe it," she added.

MANILA, Philippines – Korean TV and radio personal Grace Lee, who is
currently being romantically linked to President Benigno Aquino III, shared her
birthday wish for the country's chief executive who turns 52 today.
"My birthday wish is may he continue having the kind of love he is receiving
from his people. I know it's very important to him. I know 'yung love na 'yon is
important to him," Lee said during a press conference on Wednesday to announce
her endorsement of cosmetics brand Ever Bilena.
The new endorsement comes just days after it was reported that Lee is the
newest celebrity endorser of clothing brand Bench.
According to Lee, she already greeted Aquino, who is visiting the
earthquake-hit province of Negros Oriental.
Aquino was accompanied by his sisters Pinky Abellada and Ballsy Cruz, and
several Cabinet officials in Guihulngan City, one of the most devastated areas
in Negros Oriental.
Aquino landed in Dumaguete City on Wednesday morning and used a chopper to go
to the isolated city of Guihulngan, where 29 people were buried in a landslide.
"It's good that he will do his work without distractions," Lee said.
No PSG
Meanwhile, Lee denied that she is asking for her own Presidential Security
Group (PSG) detail or that Aquino wants her to have one.
"I have never asked for PSG and no PSG have been offered to me by anyone,"
Lee said.
"The President never offered me PSG and no one around him offered me any type
of security. First of all, there's no reason to give me security," she added.
Lee said she is looking forward to meeting the President's youngest sister,
Kris Aquino, who had said that she would like to meet the 29-year-old Korean.
Lee also said she has already met Aquino's sisters, Abellada and Cruz, whom
she described as "very nice" and "accommodating."
"I'm looking forward to meet her also," Lee said of the Queen of All Media.
Lee admitted that she is still adjusting to the intense media attention she
is getting after Aquino confirmed last week that he is seeing her.

MANILA, Philippines – Korean television personality Grace Lee is willing to
debate with critics of President Benigno Aquino III who say the Chief Executive
is not smart.
In an interview with Wilson Lee Flores, which was published at The Philippine
Star on Sunday, Lee described Aquino as "very intelligent."
"Whatever we talk about — whether politics, economics, books or music — he's
so knowledgeable. He knows a lot. Whenever some critics say bad things about
him, that he's not aggressive or that he's not matalino, I'd debate them and
tell them he's very smart," she said.
Lee also said Aquino is "very hardworking, and really a good person."
"He is really a gentleman. He is very caring, very humble, a down-to-earth
person, and very considerate. He cares for other people's feelings. Halata
really that he comes from a very good moral background," Lee said.
Lee also said she has already met Aquino's sisters, Ballsy and Pinky, whom
she described as "very nice" and "accommodating."
Asked of her wish for the Aquino government, Lee told Flores: "My wish and
hope for him is that sana ma-maintain niya the success he has now and the love
of the people. He's very conscious that the reason he's president of the
Philippines is because of the people's love, so he cannot and won't do anything
that would compromise that love of the people."
