'INVOLVEMENT' W/ AZKALS' BORROMEO

Cristalle Henares, the daughter of Dr. Vicki Belo, has denied talk linking her
mother to Philippine Azkals team captain Aly Borromeo.
This was according to a report aired on "The Buzz" last Feb. 19, which did
not specify how long the rumor has been going around, nor did it elaborate on
details and how it began.
This comes merely a week after Vicki and Hayden's now much-talked about
breakup was publicized.
Speaking with "Buzz" in a taped phone interview, Cristalle said, "That's not
true! Aly and his group, for how many years - more than five years already. They
are my very good friends."
In the meantime, Cristalle (photo at left) has been showing
support for her mother without asking her for details about her recent breakup
with Hayden Kho.
"I know she's feeling bad. I just made her feel na nandoon ako for her. I
tried to distract her na lang para she doesn't feel so sad. I made her feel my
love by hugging her, by sleeping beside her. She's a very strong woman. I'm sure
she will handle it in her own way.
"Nagulat din ako kasi sa Twitter ko na lang nalaman lahat. I just wanted to
give her the space. I didn't want to probe so much," she expressed, also urging
people to do the same for now.
Cristalle also talked about her older brother Quark, who last year made
remarks about disliking Hayden.
"Knowing him, and knowing that he loves my mom and being the man of the
family, I know that he is very protective about her. It's nice that everyone is
there for her..." she said.
On Feb. 13, Vicki flew to Los Angeles for a trip that was initially intended
to be spent with her ex-fiancé. As of this writing, the doctor has returned to
Manila.

Nancy, Rufa Mae not involved
Both Vicki and Hayden have yet to speak up about the reason for their
breakup, but the rumor mill has been going on about the involvement of
singer-actress Nancy Castigliogne and sexy comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto.
However, Hayden had already cleared the name of the two women from the issue.
Arnold Vegafria, Nancy's manager, also related that his ward "totally denied"
the accusation.
"According to her, talagang totally they're just friends and acquaintances.
Nagsimula 'yan about the skin care products na ino-offer yata ni Hayden or si
Nancy. [It's] all about business, according to her," he said.
To prove his claim, Arnold said that Nancy and her non-showbiz husband "are
still together until now."
For her part, Rufa Mae exclaimed, "Hindi naman totoo 'yon. Bakit ako? Wala
'kong koneksyon. 'Wag niyo ko'ng i-join join d'yan, ano."
