JOLINA, PIA WANT TO BE MOMMIES NEXT
YEAR
MANILA, DECEMBER 29, 2011 (MALAYA) ETHEL
RAMOS - Jolina Magdangal and Pia Guanio are newly married and both are in their
30s.
WHEN Eugene Domingo agreed to do "My Househusband" with Judy Ann
Santos and Ryan Agoncillo, she knew she would only be playing support to the
real-life couple.
But as she said, the two are her best friends. And besides, she was assured
by director Joey Javier Reyes that he will make sure her role will be equal and
as lengthy as the couple's.
"Ganun paman," Eugene said. "Even without the assurance of Direk Joey na 'di
ako madedehado sa role, I would still have done the movie.
"Judy Ann and Ryan happen to be two of my best friends in showbiz. I will do
anything for them. Alam ko kasing they will do the same, if ang tulong nila ang
kailangan ko."
Now that "My Househand," a Metro Manila Film Festival entry, is doing well at
the tills, what's her take?
"I'm glad I did it. Hindi lang sarili ko ang napagbigyan ko, kung hindi,
hayun nga, sina Judy Ann at Ryan at si Direk Joey," Eugene replies.
"My Househusband" is not the only MMFF entry she has.
She again plays Ai Ai de las Alas' best friend in "Enteng ng Ina Mo," which
emerged as the No. 1 grosser on the first day of the MMFF.
The film, directed by Tony Reyes, pairs Ai Ai with Vic Sotto for the first
time.
Eugene also headlines one of the three episodes in "Shake, Rattle and Roll
13."

Pia Guanio, who married her boyfriend, Steve Mago, three months ago, is
determined to get pregnant next year. The comely TV host obviously fears that if
she doesn't get pregnant in 2012, her biological clock might stop ticking.
Pia's in her late 30s.
Likewise, singer-actress Jolina Magdangal, who married her band member
boyfriend, Marc Escueta, last November, wants to get pregnant also next year.
Jolina is in her early 30s.
While Pia and Steve already have a house of their own, located in Ayala,
Alabang, Jolina said she and Mark are saving for their future dream house.
But as it is, Jolina already has acquired a number of properties, including
one which serves as a restaurant and inn in Tagaytay City.
Her showbiz batchmates, well, most of them, actually, are now wives and
mommies. One of them is her good friend, Judy Ann Santos, who is wife to Ryan
Agoncillo and mom to Yohan and Lucho, who turned one last October.
Another contemporary, Gladys Reyes is married to fellow actor Christopher
Roxas. They have three kids, two boys and a girl.
Even Marvin Agustin, a bachelor who was Jolina's love team in a number of
movies they appeared in when they were still teenagers, is now father to
six-year-old twins, Sebastian and Santiago.

Newshen Niña Corpuz is giving birth in May. It will be her first baby with
her husband, TV executive Vince Rodriguez.
As of this writing, the couple have no idea what the gender of their little
one will be.
Both, though, hope they will have a boy.
When we bumped into Niña at the ABS-CBN main lobby recently, she said she is
hoping to keep quiet about her interesting condition.
But Vince, Niña said, convinced her to be proud of he pregnancy.
Lately, husband and wife have been reading a lot of books about pregnancy and
being a parent.
Niña and two other TV anchors, ABS-CBN and DZMM's Bernadette Sembrano and
TV5's Cheryl Cosim, all got married three years ago.
Soon, according to Niña, she and Vince will start preparing their baby's
nursery.

Will Regine Velasquez mind having another baby? Yes, this soon?
Well, the songbird may still be reeling from the experience of giving birth
to her first son, she has no doubts she will welcome another baby soon.
Neither will her husband, Ogie Alcasid. They would welcome having a playmate
for Nate kaagad.
"But sana," she reportedly remarked, "she will come when Ogie and I have
finished our first concert together since we became parents."
The concert will be called "Mr. & Mrs. A" and will be staged in February.
