(MALAYA) Imagine without formal singing lessons, Anne Curtis has
pulled off singing at the Big Dome with Joey Generoso of Side A at the
latter's concert with Martin Nievera.
She also hit the platinum mark with her "Anne-bisyosa"
album. And now, she gets to mount her own concert at the Araneta
Coliseum, no less!
Yes, the star of "No Other Woman" is staging "Annebisyosa: No Other
Concert World Tour" at the SMART Araneta Coliseum on Jan. 28.
"This is the ultimate pasabog," the reigning Box-Office Queen quips.
The concert ushers in her 15th year in showbiz. She had two major
breakthroughs in 2011 – her movie, "No Other Woman," became the highest
grossing dramatic Filipino movie of all time, and her debut album,
"Annebisyosa," hit platinum status within a couple of months from its
release.
"I feel so humbled by all these blessings," says the Viva Artists
Agency star, "and this concert may be the biggest of them all because
it's a dream that I never though would ever come true."
"Annebisyosa: No Other Concert World Tour" comes on the heels of
Anne's successful guest performance in the Martin Nievera-Side A Concert
in Araneta last November, where she sang her hit singles "Alone" and
"Mouth" to thunderous applause and cheers from the crowd.
The star, who acknowledges that she's "not the best singer in the
world," promises an enjoyable show. "We are making sure that it will be
the best show that we can give," Anne says. "Lots of production values,
costume changes, plus some surprise guests. As for my shortcomings as a
singer, I will make up for them with my entire performances. I will give
it my all!"

Concerts, directed by Rico Gutierrez with Marvin Querido as the musical
director.
