MARK GIL SALUTES ANDI FOR KEEPING THE BABY
MANILA, AUGUST 2, 2011 (MALAYA) ETHEL RAMOS '[S]he knows that she will always have the support of everyone in her family, especially her estranged parents, mom Jaclyn Jose and dad Mark Gil.'
KRIS Aquino and Dingdong Dantes will finally start working on their first movie team-up, "Segunda Mano," an entry in this year's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
Kris, who is producing the movie with Star Cinema and Cinemedia which her talent manager, Deo Edrinal owns, has tapped Joyce Bernal to be at the movie's helm. This is why Direk Joyce was seen in the vicinity of ABS-CBN last Friday. She was waiting for Dingdong, a GMA 7 talent, as she wanted him to submit to a camera test.
She has worked with Dingdong in several GMA 7 series before, but "Segunda Mano" is her first time to direct him in a movie.
Lately, if you notice, Direk Joyce has been busy with TV5 projects. She was co-director of actor cum megman Eric Quizon of the recently concluded, highly-rated series in the Kapatid Network, "Babaeng Hampaslupa."
"TV5 also assigned me to co-direct 'The Sisters' with Argel Joseph.
"But before I started work on the series, sinabi ko na sa kanila (TV5) na baka 'di ko matapos ang pag direk , since I've already given my word to Kris that I will direct her movie with Dingdong.
"They understood me when I told them it was time to leave. At alam kong nawala man ako bilang director ng 'The Sisters,' they still have a diligent and able director.
"They can also easily get a replacement for me from among their in-house directors, na tiyak ding makakasundo ni Direk Argel," Direk Joyce further stated.
"Segunda Mano" is horror-suspense. just like Kris' entry in last year's MMFF, "Dalaw," which emerged as the third top grosser.

For 18 days, yes, exactly 18 days, Anne Curtis will be in Europe with friends Liz Uy, Raymond Gutierrez and, hopefully, Isabelle Daza. Their scheduled departure is August 30.
"Hindi pa kasi siguradong makakaalis si Isabelle, since bago pa lamang siyang under contract sa GMA 7. And she has just started work as co-host of Manny Pacquaio and Rhian Ramos in 'Manny Many Prizes.'
"Mga three years ago, if you recall, their group was also in Europe .
"Malamang na ibang lugar naman sa France at Italy ang pupuntahan nila this time," a source close to Anne told us.
The same informer added that Anne just left again for Australia , where her family resides.
All four young people are busy and are just taking time out for this trip, which they had planned months in advance. It's their way of bonding and relaxing .

Andi Eigenmann knows that like her, her unborn daughter will grow up in a broken family. Nonetheless, she knows that she will always have the support of everyone in her family, especially her estranged parents, mom Jaclyn Jose and dad Mark Gil. And her siblings.
Andi's dad has a new family. "Ganunpaman," she said in an interview, "there was never a time that I needed him when he didn't make himself available to me."
Mark, in a recent interview, revealed that he knew of Andi's pregnancy as soon as it was confirmed.
"Binanggit sa akin ni Jaclyn and immediately, I called up Andi and without my asking her, she told me about her interesting condition. Right then and there, too, she told me that she was keeping her baby.
"For that, I salute her," Mark beamed.
Mark doesn't deny that, all in all, he has six children with four different women. Andi's baby will be his third grandchild.
He has two grandsons with daughter Maxene, who doesn't deny that her two boys were born out of wedlock and with two different men.
Maxene, likewise, believes that Andi will be able to survive this new episode in her life, knowing that the Eigenmanns are all behind her.
