HEARTTHROB Gerald Anderson has grown from being the cute Fil-Am PBB Teen
housemate to one of the most sought-after celebrities among today's batch of
young stars.
One of Star Magic's talents, Gerald has proven his worth as dramatic
actor, a great dancer, and a total entertainer. His squeaky-clean image also
makes him a favorite product endorser. He treats his legions of fans as
friends and he is known for having a soft spot for the less fortunate
children.
In a brief chat with Gerald, we learned of 25 interesting things about
this young actor:
Gerald's biggest passion, aside from acting, is basketball where he plays
shooting guard.
If Gerald was not bitten by the acting bug, he would be in school,
enrolled in an Advertising course.
Gerald is a huge fan of Tom Hanks, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Nicole Kidman,
Jennifer Aniston, and Natalie Portman.
His favorite food is kare-kare.
Gerald prefers home-cooked meals over fine dining.
His shoe size is 11.
Gerald sleeps at 3 a.m. and he can't sleep without six pillows.
Whenever he has the time, he just stays home and plays with his two dogs
– a St. Bernard and a bulldog.
Gerald travels around in his luxurious Dodge Charger, one of the major
investments he has made from his earnings from numerous showbiz and product
endorsements.
His favorite hangout place is Eastwood.
Gerald is a spiritual person and goes to mass every Sunday. If his
schedule won't allow it, he would drop by the church in their village even
at the wee hours of the morning.
Gerald prefers shopping using his credit card over paying in cash.
The latest movie he watched with friends was "Harry Potter" and the
latest DVD film he saw at home was "Forrest Gump."
To keep himself fit, Gerald regularly jogs inside their village and, at
times, in UP.
Gerald adores his mom to death and the latest gift he gave her was a
pricey watch he bought in Hong Kong.
Gerald's ultimate dislike: "When people take advantage of me."
Gerald lives with two childhood friends and a maid.
Gerald has a soft for kids and supports the foundation, Cancer Warriors.
"Itong mga bata ang future natin. I also have a soft spot for the less
fortunate old people but at least sila naranasan na nila ang buhay unlike
these kids na may mga sakit and nangangailangan ng tulong."
The last time Gerald cried over a girl was years ago. The chemistry
between him and a singer-actress Sarah Geronimo is so palpable showbiz
writers are pairing them off romantically. To this, Gerald is not closing
the possibilities since they're both loveless at the moment.
Gerald spends a maximum of one hour a day on his laptop, playing games.
His current favorite: NBA Hoops.
He loves to read self-help books, especially those regarding acting
enhancement.
Gerald does not have a Facebook account.
Gerald doesn't have a Twitter account.
Gerald is a very happy person and has countless friends.
