KRIS AQUINO NOT EAGER TO SPEAK ILL OF JAMES YAP

MANILA, Philippines – Though currently not in speaking terms with estranged husband James Yap, Kris Aquino says she will not malign her former flame for the sake of their son.
"I don't want to say anything na mapapanood niya [Bimby] ... Sasabihin na naman niya sa dad niya [Yap], 'Don't be bad to my mama,'" Aquino told abs-cbnnews.com in their June 30 report.
"Parati akong pinapaalalahanan at pinagsasabihan ni Ate (Ballsy), Pinky at Viel na at the end of the day, he needs a strong relationship with his father so [dapat] mong pangalagaan," she added.
Aquino also admitted that she is not currently communicating with Yap apart from a few exchanges of text messages. She was the one who "refused to talk to him."
Her decision came after she was made to testify in one of the court hearings relating to her petition to nullify her five-year marriage with the professional basketball player.
She shared, "I'll be very honest, I was put through the wringer on that witness stand and I refused to talk to him after that."
"I just wish na sana kinonsider niya ang fact na ang primary care at 'yong responsibilidad sa pagpapalaki, because custody is mine until at least he's eight years old, sana naisip niya na kung meron kang gustong [sabihin], huwag mong sirain ang pagkatao ko dahil nanay ako ng anak mo," she said.
The "Kris TV" host is not dismissing the possibility of bumping into Yap in the future. Should that happen, Aquino says she will be civil with him for the sake of their son, Bimby.
She likewise pointed out that she has learned to accept what happened in the court room as a means to an end. "Kasi alam kong hindi namin gagawin 'yon sa kanya. Okay lang. After that, inintindi ko na lang dahil sabi ko baka this is the way na maga-grant ito [the annulment]."
Aquino refused to discuss further details pertaining to the hearing for fear of being reprimanded by the court's judge.
Aquino is not seeing anybody as of the moment, but to dispel rumors that she has not been spending time with her her two boys, she shared with "Showbiz News Ngayon," in an interview aired on June 30, how she arranges her work be with her kids, including having to bring them with her to tapings.
"Parati kong sinasama talaga so okay lang sila. Happy naman sila. Pero kanina sabi ni Bimby 'Mama stop working so hard.' Tapos sinabi ko sa kanya na 'I was telling you to come with me. Hindi ka bumangon.' Kasi vacation pa siya ngayon. August pa ang resumption [of his classes]," Aquino related in the interview.
