JOHN ESTRADA CONFIRMS WIFE PRISCILLA MEIRELLES IS PREGNANT
MANILA, JULY 14, 2011 (MALAYA) ETHEL RAMOS ('Yes, she's probably about two to four weeks pregnant. – John Estrada' )
JOHN Estrada's Brazilian wife, 2004 Miss Earth Priscilla Meirelles, is pregnant.
"Yes, she's probably about two to four weeks pregnant," John announced on ABS-CBN noontime show "Happy, Yipee, Yehey!."
"My wife had three pregnancy tests and the results were all positive. We will visit an obstetrician soon to check her condition."
It can be recalled that a few months back, John already had suspicions that his wife was pregnant.
"Siyempre makikita mo kasi na may physical changes like medyo lumalaki na… It's one way of knowing kung pregnant na ang isang babae," he said.
It is John's first child with Priscilla. The actor-TV host has four kids with his former wife, Janice de Belen.
"I know my kids are all excited to see the new baby of the family," he remarked happily.
John said he is very inspired to work now that his wife is pregnant.
Aside from "Happy, Yipee, Yehey!," John is also part of the series "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin."
The couple got married last February in La Union.

Some reports say that the union of Claudine Barretto and her husband Raymart Santiago has gone kaput.
"My God, it is absolutely not true. Saan ba nila pinag-pupupulot ang balita na 'yan?," a close friend of the couple said. "Ang tagal na rin nagsi-circulate ng balitang iyan kaya napapagod na silang mag-explain."
"Kaya, I decided to take up the cudgels for them. Nakakaawa na kasi iyong dalawa."
However, the same source said that she cannot attest if the couple has a perfect marriage. "But the fact that they love and trust each other is enough to make their marriage last," the source said.
"Ang ganda pa ng ginagawa nilang pagpapalaki sa dalawa nilang anak Sabina at Santino, who are now both going to school," the source added.
The couple is now busy with their shows on GMA-7.
Raymart is busy with his afternoon series ""Futbolilits," while Claudine is part of the upcoming fantasy series "Iglot."

Star Power winner, Angeline Quinto, told us some funny stories regarding her recent trip to the US for a series of concerts with Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
"Sobrang lamig pala doon," she said. "And it's not even winter. Buti na lang I brought some sweaters. And, of course, bumili na rin ako ng jacket don."
Angeline said she was astonished to see the "different gifts" that Sharon received from her fans in California.
"Usually, dinadalhan nila si Ms. Mega ng pagkain. Masasarap ito especially 'yung steak. It really tasted good at malambot na malambot," she related.
In one of their performances, Angeline recalled a Filipina who approached her and proposed to adopt her.
According to Angeline, the woman said she had read some write ups about her, noting that she was adopted by her present family.
Angeline never denies that she was an adopted child. She said she was very young when her real mother, whom she never saw afterwards, entrusted her to her adoptive mom in exchange for P10,000.
Her adoptive mom told her that her real mother went to Japan to seek a better future.
And as she grews up, Angeline said she became fond of joining singing contests.
"Ewan ko ba," she narrated, "Pero mas madalas ang talo ko kaysa panalo."
"Kaya pinagagalitan ako ng adoptive father at brother ko. Sabi nila tigilan ko na raw ang kalokohan ko."
Angeline said it was her adoptive mom who encouraged her to pursue her dream.
"I'm just glad my mom urged me to join Star Power. Kung hindi dahil sa kanya, I wouldn't be here," she added.
