ENGAGED OYO, KRISTINE HAVE A SON
MANILA, DECEMBER 31, 2010 (MALAYA) ETHEL RAMOS ('Kristine Hermosa and Oyo Sotto, even before their wedding in January 12, 2011, are parents.')
NOW it's confirmed: Kristine Hermosa and Oyo Sotto, even before their wedding in January 12, 2011, are parents.
No less than Oyo's father, Vic Sotto, made this known. He added that the baby boy is adopted.
"Kaya nga I tell them to work on having their first real baby after their wedding," related Vic, "As I told them, although there's not much difference between a baby who is adopted and one na talagang inyo, iba pa rin kung galing sa inyong dalawa ang inyong anak."
Vic already has a grandson, courtesy of his daughter, Danica, with his ex-wife, Dina Bonnevie.
Danica has been married to cager Marc Pingris for three years now.

We can't help but feel sad upon learning that Jodi Sta. Maria and her husband of five years, Pampi Lacson, son of Senator Panfilo Lacson, are now estranged.
Gifted with a precious son, Thirdy, 4, theirs appeared an ideal marriage.
The two, if we recall, were married in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Regarded as a serious actress, Jodi is most in demand for roles that are demanding and challenging.
She is currently in the cast of the series, "Noah," playing the leading lady of Piolo Pascual.
The series features two child sensations of 2010, Xyriel Manabat and Zaijian Jaranilla.

Guess who are together in a movie, a horror-suspense at that, for the first time?
Well, drama actress Angelica Panganiban and comedian Vhong Navarro, that's who.
The project is "Bulong," and has director Chito Rono at the helm.
Written by Roy Iglesias, "Bulong" centers on a Filipino belief that for one to have his wish granted, he has to whisper it to a dead person.
"A number who has experienced doing this," said Direk Chito, "attests na talagang maga-grant ang wish na ito."
Direk Chito's two past successful horror suspense films, "Feng Shui" and "Sukob," were based on pamahiin, too.
"Feng Shui," as we all know, is a Chinese tradition Pinoys have embraced.
"Sukob" is the belief that siblings should not marry on the same year. Otherwise, one of them is sure to have an unhappy or difficult marriage.
Both "Sukob" and "Feng Shui" emerged blockbusters. Both movies starred Kris Aquino, earning for her the title "Queen of Horror-Suspense Films."
Incidentally, Kris is playing the lead in another horror movie, "Dalaw," a Star Cinema and Cinemedia co-production.
"Dalaw" is part of the ongoing Metro Manila Film Festival and is said to be playing well at the box office, emerging as the third top grosser.
First and second placer, respectively, are the Vic Sotto-Senator Bong Revilla movie, "Si Agimat at Si Enteng Kabisote" and Ai Ai delas Alas' "Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Last Na 'To)."
Ai Ai de las Alas won her first MMFF best actress trophy for the comedy.

Dennis Trillo reportedly is happy for Cristine Reyes and Rayver Cruz, who really look good together.
For a while, Dennis and Cristine were in a turbulent relationship, which almost always hit the front pages of tabloids, especially.
Cristine, then a Kapuso like Dennis, seemed the aggressive one. She was so obviously in love with Dennis then, so much so, she will do anything to have him all to herself.
Dennis, however, was still being linked to Carlene Aguilar, who was pregnant with their first baby, Calyx.
Soon, however, Cristine got over Dennis and started to move on. She left GMA 7 and signed up with Viva Artists Center.
We doubt if Cristine, now considered one of the most popular actresses – and the sexiest, too –even thinks of Dennis nowadays.
Dennis, meanwhile, has parted ways with Carlene and is currently in love with his "Rosario" leading lady, Jennylyn Mercado.
